Whether you’re in the outback or enjoying an evening on your terrace: VARTA Consumer's new “Indestructible” Lantern is a break from the norm. The nearly unbreakable lamp is designed to be used in the most demanding of conditions, be it a trip to the wilderness or a big BBQ with the whole family.
Made of tough stuff
It is able to cope with harsh conditions: The 5 W Indestructible Lantern can deal with heights and is not phased by extreme temperature fluctuations. Due to its incredibly robust design – while retaining ergonomic and eye-catching features – it is able to withstand being dropped from a height of 4 meters and is also waterproof IPX7. That makes it the perfect lantern for your next camping trip. The lantern has a retractable handle, as well as a hook that is integrated into the base of the device. The hook allows the user to hang the light up – providing a helping hand when setting up a tent or simply creating the perfect atmosphere on your terrace. For a full homogeneous light distribution while hanging, the lantern cage can be easily screwed off.
Durable in any situation
Three different modes with 32, 110 and 280 lumens of light allow the lantern to adapt to its surroundings; the required amount of light can be adjusted within seconds. The Indestructible Lantern can therefore be used to create soft lighting or to light up an entire area. A special reflector enables the high-performance LED to achieve a beam range of 13 meters at 360 degrees with a runtime of up to 280 hours. In high mode, at 280 lumens, the runtime comes in still at 40 hours.
The new Indestructible Lantern is part of VARTA Consumer’s existing range of nearly unbreakable lights and is available on the market as of September 2013. Further information can be found at www.varta-consumer.com, http://www.built-to-survive.com and on our official Facebook page.
